The route for the Exodus Ultra Marathon follows the full length of Beacons Way footpath with a total ascent of just over 23,000ft (7100m).
The runs all the way across the Brecon Beacons National Park and as takes you through some farmland, forest, villages and mountains. As such the countryside code must be followed at all times. You are responsible for the opening and closing of gates during the race.
The Ultra Marathon starts in LLangadog on the 6th of December 2019 and finishes in Abergavenny
The entire route is marked with wood posts etc., but these can be sparse at times and in many places theres no warn path, so competitors must be able to and expect to navigate.
The route of the race goes through farm land, farms, private forests and private estates. As such the countryside code must be followed at all times. You are responsible for the opening and closing of gates during the race.
