The event consists of 3 races, all on the 25th March 2018. There will be a 5km*, 10km* and 20km* race. The 20km will be two loops of the 10km course. The route is a little more sheltered than others so you might not be too exposed to the March Wales weather.
There is plenty of variety in terrain over the route with forest tracks, footpaths and fields. It has a unique elevation (as you can see from the elevation graph). There is a total of 210metres* of elevation for the 10km* and 420metres* of elevation for the 20km*. There is an entry limit of 500 (across all races) and we expect it to fill quickly, so get in now! There will also be a children's race on the day for the budding trail runners.
Our event centre provides a great family day out for both competitors and also spectators, with food and drinks available, children's activities, race commentary all at the start / finish line located in the grounds. Spectators will have a great view of the starters and finishers. There will be toilets provided and some shelter in the registration marquee, which hopefully we won't need. But as it is Wales in March you can't be sure what the weather will do so make sure you dress for the conditions.
Due to the fact that all our events are held on private land, we are not able to provide you with course maps. As it is private land the route cannot be run before or after the race, so please don't try. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the day.
There is ample parking at the event and we charge £3 for each car. We encourage car sharing.
Have a look at the ‘The Day’ page for a full schedule of events on the day and have a look at our FAQs section for answers to more questions. If you have anything else you’d like to ask us then go to the contact us page and fill in the form or use the live chat at the bottom right of your screen. You can ask us anything you like but we’re better at answering questions about the events, we reserve the right to post silly questions to our facebook page :)
