Ballygally Beach Swim

Situated on the world famous Antrim Coast Road you will find BallyGallys award winning beach, nestled under the Sallagh Braes and home to the historic BallyGally Castle.

Views of the infamous North channel and the Mull of Kintyre will meet you as you stand ready for a running beach start into the chilly waters of BallyGally..

Distances of 1.2 miles 2.4 miles and 3.1 miles available

CAR PARKING

Their are multiple car parks. Please do not park where cones are placed and respect the local community by not blocking driveways.

RULES

Swim cap compulsory (supplied by Up Hill Down Dale)

Swim Tow Floats are permitted

Wetsuits are advisable however not compulsory

Sea temperature will be taken on the day and relayed to you

If conditions are not satisfactory the event may be postponed on grounds of safety

RACE LIMITS

The Ballygally Beach swim will be limited to 100 entrants. There will not be a waiting list.

WITHDRAWALS/CANCELLATIONS/DEFERALS/REFUNDS

If for any reason you are unable to attend the race, there will not be a refund or an option to defer your entry, however you are welcome to transfer your entry to another competitor via SiEntries, the cut off for transfers is 28 days prior to the start of the event.
