Creini Trail Run Race Report

The final race of a success full first year of the Up Hill Down Dale series was held at Creini Estate near Bala on 11th September 2016.
As we have become accustom to on Up Hill Down Dale races the weather was bright and sunny. Throughout the year on each race the weather has shone, something we hope will continue in 2017.

The Creini Estate has some of the best views from its high vantage point. The competitors could enjoy panoramic views all the way around the route, if they could look up long enough!
The 8km route was the most compact of the year but had some muddy spots to make sure it wasnt too easy.

The 16km Race started at 10:30am and was won by Matt Biggs in a time of 01:10:01 and by Rhiannon Robson in a time of 01:29:45.
The 8km Race started at 11am and was won by Tony Davenport in a time of 00:37:06 and by Jazz Maddocks in a time of 00:40:24.
The CaniX Race started at 11:15am and was won by Lee Thornton in a time of 00:35:31
