Bala Trail Festival
10km & Half Marathon - 15th September 2018

The event consists of 2 races. There will be a 10km^* route and Half Marathon^* race. The races start and finish at the Gorwelion cafe, on the outskirts of Bala. Both route take in the scenic views to the north west of the lake. With moorland, woodland and country trails there is plenty here to get your heart and legs pumping after a summer rest.

There is an entry limit of 500 (across both events) and we expect it to fill quickly, so get it now!

Our event centre provides a great family day out for both competitors and also spectators, with food and drinks available, children's activities, race commentary all at the start / finish line located next to the cafe. Spectators will have a great view of the starters and finishers. With the cafe located at the start / finish you can get refreshments when need and theres also a childrens play area in the main building. The weather will hopefully be kind in September but as it is Wales you can't be sure what the weather will do so make sure you dress for the conditions and maybe bring some sun cream just in case!

Due to the fact that all our events are held on private land, we are not able to provide you with course maps. As it is private land the route cannot be run before or after the race, so please don't try.
