Brynkinalt Trail Race is a Winner!

Our first race of 2016 was a great success. Over a hundred people took part in the first race of the season at Brynkinalt, Chirk on Sunday the 13th March 2016.
The weather did its part and was a dramatic improvement from the snow and rain that had plagued us over winter. Spring finally arrived and warm sunshine bathed the runners and spectators alike.

The runners returned from their adventure around the Brynkinalt Estate grounds with large grins and tails of their experiences with mud, leg burning climbs and picturesque locations. A good time was had by all. Just a few comments from the runners where "Love it!!!! Great location and weather", "Loved every minute! Looking forward to Rhug" and "Muddy good run".

The 20km Race started at 10:30am and was won by Craig Lammas in a time of 1:23:35 and by Leonie Keeling in a time of 1:41:10.
The 10km Race started at 11am and was won by Brad Pollitt in a time of 42:37 and by Lesley Goodson in a time of 52:47.
